  • Another random update

    I feel the best I have in a long time.
    I am with the first man that doesn't need me to be his support in everything, but rather wants me to be his support and who does a wonderful job being mine.
    I think I have a rhythm with school going, but to say whether or not it will stay this way is up in the air.
    Way up in the air.

    Because what I've discovered about growing up is simply this:
    The hits keep on coming, but now we can see them. We prepare for them and we know what we will do. We can see our own downfall, know why we are doing it... And maybe when we are older and truely "grown up" we can figure out how to stop this madness. But for now I guess it's good enough to be able to see the world beyond all the trivial drama we made our rose colored glasses out of in high school.

  • Updates updates

    Well, I feel like a complete retard.

    I've been waiting and waiting for my financial aid to come in the mail only to find out yesterday that it's been waiting for me in some office since August 24th. They don't mail it, you walk your ass over to get it.

    *sigh*

    Besides that life is good. I'm liking many of my co-workers, mostly cooks though. Some of the newer servers are annoying and retarded, but that's okay. I still rock out working there. I made a 20$tip last night from some cool people. Awesome.

    My classes are eh. I'm still slacking, but I'm doing okay I suppose. Midterms are coming up, so I'll get to see how badly I'm failing in two classes then. The other two I believe I'm doing quite well in.

    Nick is awesome. I've been in an amazingly good mood these past weeks. Even when the scales get balanced and I have a shitty day or feel like shit, he makes it better. It's crazy. And so is his mom, but aren't they all?

    Just figured I'd say hello.

    Fall break comes soon. HUZZAH.

  • Some updates on life.

    Alright, so Ruby's turned out to be an awesome job, because they work me to death thus I get hours, and yet they are understanding as can be when something comes up.

    Living with Alex didn't work out. I don't think living with anyone would have worked out... Plus, much to my dismay, no matter what happened I still thought of Alex as more of my best friend than my boyfriend. *shrugs* What can you do?

    Anyway, I'm dating a guy from the Ruby's farther down the highway from mine, his name is Nick. I could go on and on about him, but I'd rather not bore you. lol.

    School is going okay. I'm still burnt out from last semester, so I'm trying to get back into the swing of thigns and stop skipping class. I've skipped every class at least once so far. 2 times for some, but no more I say, NO MORE.

    No more than 2 classes per class skipped. This is me writing it down and sticking to it.

    Maybe. Argh, goddamnit. *sigh*

    I'm also downloading lots of music. I have to practice cello 4 hours a day... I'm up to 30minutes + every day. Maybe. Hah! This semester is going to suck. Yeay.

  • I am moved.

    I now live in a small efficiency apartment in Knoxville with the Alex-man.

    We're moving most of his stuff in today, and we're still trying to get jobs. It's funny that it's taking so long when there are so many places to apply to. However, I just applied to McKay's bookstore, Ruby Tuesday's, Panera, and Taco Hell. Woo.

    So yeah, living in the bigger city now and so far it's slightly more interesting, but just as boring. lol.

    Here's to a new start-ish thing. Maybe.

    Laterz.

    EDIT: Got a job at Ruby Tuesday's. It's going all fancy, so it kind of sucks. We're told to try and sell the high priced stuff which is now really hig priced. Everything's getting fancy names and the menu will now have crazy rich things like Quiche and Avacado Quesadillas.

    Gag me someone, please. Bleh.
